Background
Kelly worked in hospitality for a number of years before deciding to come to University. She continued working in hospitality (occupying a junior management role – Hotel Duty Manager) during her undergraduate degree (Bcom in Management (Hons)). Having a part-time job that was relevant to her studies was useful in understanding the application of theory in practice. Kelly's primary areas of interest are: employment/industrial relations and some aspects of HRM.
