Frank
Sligo
Associate Professor Frank Sligo teaches
research methods, organisational behaviour and business communication
at
Massey University, Palmerston North, and is currently Head
of the Department of Communication and Journalism. He has
also served as the Programme Manager for Massey's
MBA in Wellington.
His research interests mainly centre around the knowledge
gap hypothesis, comprising a cluster of inter-related studies
by staff plus doctoral and masters students that explore
problems of differential access to and use of information
in organisational, educational and community settings.
He has published case studies in his book Organisational
behaviour: Case studies and commentaries (Palmerston
North: Dunmore Press, 1991); in Human resource management
in action:
Contemporary NZ cases, vols. 1 and 2 (Graham Elkin, Ed.,
Palmerston North: Dunmore Press, 1997 and 2001), and
in the Asian Case Research Journal vols. 1 no. 1 (1997) and
4 no.
2 (2000).
