Alex Sibbald

Alex teaches and publishes in personnel and small business management at the University of Otago. His publications include case studies, particularly in the area of compensation management He has also taught in universities in Scotland and Fiji. Previous work experience includes managerial positions in the steel and refractories industries, operating a small business, and as a board member of both a training organisation and a semi professional football club. He is also presently a mentor for business in the community, and a director of Credit Union Otago. His current research interests are in personnel and small business management, and co-operatives, particularly credit unions.
