Leadership success starts with studying Management at Otago

Great leaders, great entrepreneurs, great business people, even great bosses, all have one thing in common – great management skills!

Management teaches you to understand how people behave in organisations, and the nature of power, influence and leadership. Whether you aim to be self-employed, an entrepreneur, head your own company; or to work for private business, not-for-profit organisations or government agencies – Management gives you the tools for success!

An undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification in Management at the University of Otago will give you:

  • insight into how business is conducted, both nationally and internationally
  • knowledge about global business and the giant global corporations that run it
  • a strong understanding about leadership and its role in organisations, both big and small
  • a background into organisational behaviour, communication, and employment relations.
