Kamer Yuksel is a seasoned marketing professional and currently a full-time Marketing PhD student at the University of Otago. She has gained global marketing experience at the brand management level working for major multinationals such as Henkel, Schick, and Energizer. She successfully developed and executed branding, positioning, and marketing communications strategies for well-known global brands. Her professional contributions were further acknowledged by one global award and a number of adaptations of her ideas by different countries’ branches.
Kamer holds a BSc degree in Economics from Middle East Technical University, and a MSc degree in Construction Management from Texas A&M University, where she graduated top of her class. Prior to joining our department, Kamer completed her certificate in Marketing at UCLA Extension with academic distinction. During her studies at UCLA, she also had the privilege to serve as the Vice President of the American Marketing Association’s Southern California division.
