The Commerce Building

The School of Business is housed in the purpose-built Commerce building on the corner of Cyde and Union Streets in the North-East region of the University of Otago's Dunedin campus.

The building is home to all programmes within the School of Business, accommodating numerous teaching spaces, computer labs, 24/7 study space for students, staff offices and other facilities for staff and students.

Additional features include the StartUp Lounge for aspiring student entrepreneurs, the office of the Commerce Students Association (OCOM), the base for the student organisation AISEC, and Shop@Com which provides food and other convenience items.

The School also has facilities for its information science students available a block away on the corner of Albany and Clyde Streets.

With numerous teaching rooms, a spacious staffroom and the pleasant internal atrium, the building is regularly used for events and conferences.   

The Executive Residence

Executive Residence

The School of Business has its own boutique hotel - the Executive Residence. This facility provides services for university guests or visitors to Dunedin who require short-term accommodation. The Residence is popular for parents of graduands at graduation time.
