Established in the United States in 1916, AACSB is an association of educational institutions, businesses, and other organisations devoted to the advancement of management education. AACSB accreditation is an assurance of not only teaching and research excellence, but also the continuous improvement required to compete successfully in the rapidly changing economic climate.

Not all business schools that are members of AACSB International are accredited; in fact only 5% of business schools globally have gained AACSB accreditation.
