Where is SIRC

The Spatial Information Centre is located at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand.

The University of Otago is New Zealand's oldest university. Established in 1869, it has an international reputation for its excellence as a teaching institution and for its leadership in many areas of pure and applied research. The University has over 15,000 students enrolled with more than 2,000 studying at postgraduate level, in Honours, Masters and Doctoral courses.

Dunedin is New Zealand's fourth largest city with around 150,000 people. The street names and architechture are based very much on it's historical

connection to Edinburgh, Scotland. A feature of Dunedin is it's harbour which stretches out 18km to Taiaroa Head on the Otago Peninsula, home of the Royal Albatross Colony.
