Kelvin Seah

Kelvin received his Honours and Masters degrees from the National
University of Singapore. Prior to pursuing his PhD studies at Otago,
he was an Instructor at the National University of Singapore's Business
School where he taught Managerial and International Economics. Kelvin
was also involved in part-time teaching as a Lecturer at the SIM
University in Singapore. During his undergraduate term, Kelvin worked
as a Research Assistant at the Nanyang Technological University
where he provided Professor Euston Quah with assistance in collecting
and analyzing cases for his textbook publication with N. Gregory
Mankiw and Peter Wilson. Kelvin subsequently also served as a Graduate
Student Researcher in the National University of Singapore's Economics
department during his postgraduate candidature.
Kelvin's research interests lie in the area of Industrial Organization
and Competition Policy. His thesis focuses on studying how bilateral
air services agreements and revenue pooling arrangements in international
air markets affect competition and welfare outcomes and how liberalisation
influences these outcomes.
